This is awesome information! I take a turmeric capsule daily, but I had no idea it should be used as an essential oil. I'm currently using frankincense for my neuropathy, and it works great for that. I started putting it on my legs to rid myself of the old-age bumps and lumps that I don't understand and hate, but it isn't helping. I'm going to have to try some turmeric now. Thank you for this valuable information. 😊 I love natural remedies. Do you have any suggestions for menopausal night sweats and hot flashes?

So turmeric capsules if it's got the herb and it's nowhere near as strong as an essential oil. and it's hard to know if it's what it's really says it is we have to be careful a lot of supplements out there because they're not regulated, and I don't think regulation is a great thing all the time anyway but it's not what you think you're getting.

Frankincense is good for so many things. I know people that use it on their face and make up their own facial treatment and it really does help with anti-aging.

Most of the oils I take I take internally. I do diffuse all the time (best for emotional and psychological health).

Topically, I don't use most of my oils that way, except for things like my hands, neck, headaches or if my knees are bothering me. I'll mix up some turmeric and copaiba oil and put it on my knees and then of course I'll go out and walk until it stops hurting (most people stop walking and that's why it gets worse).

I have a lot to say about menopause and hot flashes. I went through menopause at age 30 and took them 10 years to figure it out I suffered with horrible anxiety and depression during those 10 years and I would have to have so much more information. If you do decide to become paid and you want to make our call about that, I'll be more than happy to talk to you about that but there's just too many other things I would have to ask. Hope that makes sense.

Sorry to hop in this discussion. I hope you don't mind. I completely agree with Kathleen and you need to have a serious look at the exact circumstances of your menopause situation and wellbeing.

My wife had the same hot flashes and night sweats. She started to take sage oil and evening primrose capsules. And it helped almost instantly. No exaggeration here, but in as short as two weeks, the symptoms were gone...

And she is still very ok.

Hope it helps. At least as a starting point for further research.

No, thanks for hopping in but the issue is that just trying to take some supplements for a symptom doesn't do anything but mask the symptoms.

.

If you remember in my interview with @Yana GY ( below), I spoke of getting to the "root cause" of why we have the symptoms. I've been through what I call the "power surges". I didn't have hot flashes and usually it's a fluctuation in estrogen and progesterone.. but a fluctuation in one hormone actually causes fluctuations in other hormones because the body is trying to balance it. Another thing we look at is the thyroid and do a thyroid panel .

I know people that take evening Primrose- it didn't work for me. When I checked my hormones, my DHEA was so low because I was in adrenal exhaustion so it was throwing everything off

so things like DHEA testosterone estrogen progesterone and TSH should be checked first. Because if you take the wrong hormone, it can cause serious problems. I've experienced it.

So many useful tips Kathleen! Does this work for rhematic pains? How about people with knee or neck issues, can we use towels for that?

Yes Moon, it helps for rheumatic pain, arthritis, etc. I have a nurse friend who has rheumatoid arthritis in both her hands. She is on medication and I could get her off of it, but she's afraid to come off of it, but she has been able to lessen the dosage by using these methods.

I'm going to do some videos on neck, knees, all of the above.

See I have three herniated discs, not bulging, herniated, in my cervical spine and two in my lumbar spine and you should see my MRI - the amount of arthritis in my neck, it's a disaster.

My blood type which is type O, we tend to have arthritis and joint pain, especially with dairy products - we're just prone to it, so the key is Prevention. But once an injury occurs and I've had several back injuries from working in the hospital then we have to be more proactive.

They wanted to do surgery on my cervical spine in 2020 and I told them no way. I know what to do and I know how to do it and I'm gonna teach everyone else how to do it as well.

Depending on the pain and depending on if there was a recent injury determines whether we use hot compresses or cold compresses, also different combination of oils.

Remember, I have 10 acres I get on top of my parents 4000 square-foot house and clean their roof and gutters. I can use chainsaw for 4 to 6 hours a day.

There's just so many things I can do but why can I do it? First is preparation and it's daily so that when I do it, I don't injure myself. Now there are times that I overdo it because I'm an overachiever and then I have to treat that pain- but I do it 100% naturally, I take no over-the-counter medication or anything for that.

So I'm gonna be getting more videos out and do a whole series on pain and choose different parts of the body to treat. A lot of of it's very similar except there are differences in muscle pain, joint pain and nerve pain and how we treat that.

So something to definitely look forward to. Unfortunately, I'll have to pay wall some of the content for my paid subscribers.

Thank you for taking the time to watch the video and/or read the article. I really appreciate your support 🙏

Well, if I had known you were gonna do that, I would've slowed it down and done both hands and showed more stretching 🤗

maybe an idea for a next one - I think people like videos where they can act along :)

When I was on YouTube, I did a breathing exercise with people I had to close my eyes. it got a lot of comments and views, etc.

I have so many things I could actually show people and plan on doing some videos on self massage as well.

And some things I’ll probably do in a “live”.

This is fantastic information! I'm going to try the hot and cold protocol.

Great article. My cardiologist "amazingly" told me about these cold/warm showers too. It's good for every blood vessel in your body. Of course, he lamented much longer about the advantages of statins...
