I didn't learn it the easy way that's for sure but I am so glad that I learned. It's a progress on a progression and we all go at different speeds. thank you Haven and welcome 🤗

I think it's something we have to remind ourselves from time to time. An ongoing learning process.

I love this: "Forgiveness is for YOU. It’s you saying I refuse to let this thing control me anymore." In our house, we say, "Don't give it your power"--the same gist, I believe. Without spending tons of money on therapy and Kleenex, this article will be a jackpot for some readers. Great job, Kathleen.

I love it because I've been there with Therapy and Kleenex too many times that I could count in my past. Would've loved to learn this earlier on in life, but we learn when we're ready. And sometimes it takes a few hard. Knocks to get there. Good to see you, Cindy 🤗

This resonated with me on such a deep level. Forgiveness isn’t about excusing what happened—it’s about freeing ourselves from the weight of resentment. Holding onto anger only ties us to the past, but choosing to forgive allows us to reclaim our peace. Thank you for this powerful reminder!

Everything in this post is so true. After reading a book called Radical Forgiveness, I wrote letters of forgiveness to everyone from my past, read them out loud (to myself) and burnt them. Had to let go of that poison!

I've done that before too. One of them I almost sent and I was really glad I didn't because afterward I found out that they had some tragedy in their life

you know the saying goes whether we call it: the boomerang effect or what goes around comes around or we reap what we sew. it's so true.

Great article. I have written on Medium about forgiveness. To forgive and be forgiven, equally important. Forgiveness is the key to locked doors..

So true, that key opens a lot more than just the locked doors. Ultimately it’s the key to our freedom
